How do I qualify?
Any expecting or new mothers can get a baby box. You must compelete the baby box university course and print off the certificate to pick up your box.
What is comes in the box?
The baby box contains a mattress and a fitted sheet.
When can I pick up the box?
Once you complete the courses and print the certificate off, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a time to pick up the box.
Can I get multiple boxes?
No, only one box per family. Exceptions can be made if you are giving birth to multiple babies.
Are the courses for Baby box university long?
No, but please set aside about 30 mins to an hour to take the courses and quiz.
What information is needed to pick up boxes?
You will need to bring in a valid ID and your certificate from "Baby Box University" stating that you completed the course. These items are REQUIRED.
Although SIDS is not preventable, there are ways for parents and caregivers to reduce the risk of SIDS and other sleep-related causes of infant death. Many of these actions aim to create the safest possible sleep environment for baby.
Use a FIRM sleep surface, covered by a fitted sheet
DO NOT use crib bumpers, blankets, or place stuffed animals in crib or pack in play with your baby.
DO NOT Smoke or allow others to smoke around your baby
Always place your baby on their backs to sleep
Babies SHOULD NOT sleep in an adult bed, couch, or chair.
By following these tips you can reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Other Sleep-Related Causes of Infant Death.
